An online photobooth for long distance — take the same photo strip, together
When you can't be in the same room, you can still be in the same photo. Shot after Shot is an online photobooth built for long distance: you and your person join one room link, see each other live, and snap the same strip at the same moment.
Why live beats a shared gallery
Most long distance photo tools are static — one person takes a picture, uploads it, and the other reacts later. That is not a moment you made together; it is two moments that happen to match. With Shot after Shot, both of you are in the booth at the same time. A shared timer counts down, both cameras fire, and the strip you download is literally the same photo you posed for together. No screen sharing, no scheduling an app install — just a room link.
How it works
One person creates a group room and shares the link. The other joins from their phone or laptop. You appear on each other's screens through a live video connection, so you can see the pose, fix the framing, and shoot when you're both ready. Everyone can add stickers, drawings, and colors to the strip before downloading.
Built for distance, private by design
There is no account and no app. Photos are stored for 7 days so both of you can download them, then deleted automatically. Video streams are never recorded or stored — the connection exists only for the length of your session. That makes it a low-pressure way to keep a shared photo ritual, whether it is a weekly check-in strip, a birthday, or just because.
Ideas for long distance strips
Make a monthly photo strip on your anniversary date. Recreate your first date pose. Do themed strips — matching outfits, moody lighting, a specific color palette you both pick. Use the drawing tool to leave each other notes on the strip itself. The photobooth becomes the keepsake: a tiny, dated artifact of the time you spent together.
Ready to start? Open the photobooth for solo or group sessions in your browser, with no account needed.
